Goodbye To All That is an essay by Joan Didion. For this project I was asked to create a 75th anniversary edition. The all red, risograph zine like book is meant to reflect the fragile, and intimate nature of the essay. It is a raw rendition of Didion’s coming of age in New York, so along with the essay are images from “The New York City Street Photography Collective.” These images reflect a similar narrative, they aren’t posed, but all candid and honest, and compliment the story.
