This project began by training an AI model on a specific visual style and expanding on the resulting images. Inspired by personal experiences at airport security checkpoints, I taught the AI to learn and generate in an X-ray style. Building on the X-ray’s unique ability to reveal the hidden inner structure of objects, I associated this concept with perfume—an object whose essence cannot be seen from the outside. By visualizing the unseen material qualities of perfume through AI-generated X-ray imagery, I reinterpreted these into a new branding direction for Tom Ford’s fragrance campaign.
