Halo is a deeply personal 3D motion exploration, inspired by the loss of my beloved dog who had been with me for thirteen years. Through this project, I sought to artistically express the journey of overcoming loss and the pursuit of solace and closure.
In this visual narrative, a creature navigates a surreal landscape filled with challenging obstacles, symbolizing the emotional hurdles one faces during grief. Its ultimate goal—a luminous halo—represents peace, remembrance, and spiritual tranquility. This piece is my interpretation of mourning, transformation, and ultimately, finding peace through perseverance.
The project consists of two distinct versions:
- Version #1: A complete storytelling experience, capturing the creature's full emotional journey within an immersive environment.
- Version #2: An interactive conceptualization where the story is embedded within a virtual arcade machine, placed thoughtfully within a designed scene. This version merges nostalgic gaming aesthetics with contemporary motion design, adding an additional layer of interaction and reflection.
