This project reimagines New Directions Publishing’s visual identity. It preserves the spirit of the original horse logo by fusing it with the form of a book. The new mark reflects the publisher’s avant-garde, minimalist ethos while introducing a fresh, contemporary edge. Alongside the logo, I developed a cohesive editorial system and a series of book designs that celebrate New Directions’ experimental legacy and literary innovation.
