This project imagines a future where human culture is preserved and reinterpreted beyond Earth. Inspired by Cai GuoQiang’s ephemeral yet monumental installations, I designed a 3D printed time capsule that holds curated fragments of an interdisciplinary practice, compressed into a form meant to survive time, distance, and translation. The object reflects both fragility and permanence: soft, organic structures emerging from a solid base, suggesting memory in motion. As a speculative artifact for a future museum on Mars, it questions what we choose to carry forward, and how meaning might evolve long after we are gone.
