This project is a conceptual redesign of Ambient 1: Music for Airports, exploring how sound can be translated into spatial and visual experience. Inspired by the liminal environments of airports, the work focuses on moments of waiting, transition, and emotional suspension. Through gradients, soft light, and expanding forms, the visual system reflects the structure of ambient music: calm, repetitive, and atmospheric. Rather than illustrating the music directly, the design translates its psychological and sensory qualities into a cohesive identity across album covers, vinyl, and packaging. The project ultimately investigates the relationship between sound, space, and perception, proposing a way of experiencing ambient music not only as something to hear, but as an environment to inhabit.
