Isle

Isle Isle Isle Isle Isle
Isle is type revival project of No.3. from MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan Co. It was sourced from Robinson Crusoe, a vintage children’s book, printed by McLoughlin Bros., Inc. in 1882. The process of reviving the typeface included traditionally and digitally exploring the typeface’s form, as well as, extensive research of its origins. The typeface was designed to be used at the optical size of 18pt. The type specimen and content within were inspired by the shipwreck adventure of Robinson Crusoe.
