Ghibli x Crying Center is a joint pop-up space proposal between Studio Ghibli and clothing brand. The project takes "childlike fun" as the common core of both, extracts its characteristics in color, form, and emotional expression, and translates them into spatial installations, transforming perceptual experiences in flat vision into spatial structures that can be entered and experienced.
As one grows up, childlike is often replaced by more mature ways of behavior, but its perception has not truly disappeared. Ghibli x Crying Center uses space as a medium to externalize this stored experience, allowing consumers to pick up fun and joy in the space.
