The professional line waiter is exactly what it sounds like, someone you hire to stand in line so you don’t have to. The idea is funny enough that I didn’t want the design to oversell it, keeping things simple and let the concept breathe. Primary colors, and a whole lot of type. The type has this blob-like, almost melting quality. I wanted it to feel a little annoying, a little restless, kind of liquid. Because that’s exactly how it feels to stand in a long line. The design doesn’t just describe the service, it makes you feel the thing you’re trying to avoid.
