Book of books

This project looks at how a city records itself over time. It takes the form of a single book made up of three smaller volumes—Systems That Hold Us, Fragments on Urban Behavior, and Material Evidence of Society—all sewn together using an exposed spine binding. The first book focuses on urban systems, like infrastructure and networks that shape movement. The second looks at how those systems show up in everyday behavior. The third documents the physical traces left on the ground, using photographs I took along a continuous route, each tied to a specific location. Together, the three parts follow a chain from system to behavior to trace, showing how the city builds a record of itself through use.
