Taoyao originated from an early school project, but grew into a long-term exploration of family memory and lived history. Centered on my grandmother’s experiences, the work reconstructs fragments of everyday life in mid-20th-century Shanghai through interviews, images, and materialresearch.
The project uses editorial design to transform personal remembrance into a shared cultural narrative.
