Derma

Derma Derma Derma Derma
Derma serves as a critical analysis of modern plastic surgery and the societal structures that uphold its acceptance. The initiative examines the physical and psychological effects of various operations, namely the development and exacerbation of body dysphoria. Derma is conceptually implemented through a dual-format presentation: a sculptural chair that physically embodies and evokes the invasive and transforming character of surgical intervention, and a book that expresses its theoretical and visual concerns.
