For this project, I chose a song from a 1980s rock and roll band and create a design using a guitar. I
chose “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi. While thinking about how to express the idea of finding my own life, the
movie The Truman Show came to mind. I was inspired by the final scene where Truman climbs the stairs
and walks through the door in the sky to discover his own life. I also placed the guitar upside down to
symbolize my desire to break away from conventional norms and live life on my own terms.
