This project explores how sound can be translated into visual form and how it connects to memory and perception. Rather than treating sound as something we only hear, the work investigates how it can be seen, shaped, and experienced visually.
From subtle ambient noise to more intense and layered compositions, each sound is represented as a waveform that captures a specific moment in time. These visualized sounds act as emotional traces, similar to how images preserve memories.
The publication contrasts different types of sound environments, including urban noise and natural soundscapes, examining how each creates distinct emotional and sensory experiences. Through layout, rhythm, and typographic structure, the project transforms sound into a visual language that allows viewers to “read” and revisit auditory memories.
