“Water Footprint” refers to the volumes of water behind each person’s daily consumption; and it is much larger than you think! Humanity’s water footprint has already exceeded sustainable levels, and it is being unequally distributed. More than 1 billion people lack access to water. Yet, most of us take it for granted and even pay too much money to drink it from plastic bottles. If we don’t take action, the U.N. estimates that by 2025, 30% of the world population will live with water scarcity.
