A retrospective 4 LP boxset of legendary & mysterious Nigerian musician William Onyeabor. Onyeabor used a Moog synthesizer in the late 70’s to create rhythmic afro-soul-funk sounds that not only sound relevant today but futuristic. Onyeabor left music decades ago to become a priest, and now resides in a palace in Enugu, Nigeria. He declines interviews and refuses to talk about his music. The challenge of the design was to honor and celebrate the enigma and myths surrounding him.
