Having their 50th Anniversary this past year, Doctor Who has been the longest aired television series. I designed a series of autobiography books for each doctor. The doctor as a character never changes only his embodied appearance does. The energetic color races across the cover outlining the silhouette of that time period's doctor. The gradient connects the chronological journey of each doctor's outer appearance; where one life ends the next one begins. He travels through time and space always in his police box.
