HAY is a furniture company(??) founded in 2002. Its furniture collection was launched at IMM Cologne in 2003. HAY’s ambition is to encourage Danish furniture design to revive the innovative greatness of the 1950’s and 1960’s within a contemporary context.
Since HAY is furniture company, the letters, “H,” “A” and “Y” are treated like furniture. Since furniture is moveable and replaceable, the letters are also placed in different places through various mediums to imitate this mobility.
