The objective with Blade Runner was not only to redesign the packaging but to somehow make it engaging. This Blade Runner exclusive incorporates the developing of a writing system based on Hieroglyphics. This system is a code, an intricate series of symbols, which convey the biblical and mythological references made throughout the film.
The codex is located on the inner spine of the case, allowing the viewer a chance to discover the meaning behind the symbols and ultimately the film.
