While walking down the street in Brooklyn I came across the piece of lettering spelling “MAYA”. Studying the line structure of the original lettering I created the above set of letters for a type specimen sheet. The speciman sheet was designed for the Electric Forest music festival in Michigan. The typeface would be used in editorial, signage, posters, & packaging.
