Based on Carl Sagan’s speech, in Pale Blue Dot book, I created a visual essay that conveys his perception of us. To clearly deliver his message, I designed various visual metaphors in an abstract way to represent the idea. I was inspired to design in a warm & mysterious mood, because his speech focuses on humanity viewed at a far distance, at space.
