Air Mail is a service that has been in existence since the early 1900’s, when it became a popular and effective way to deliver written messages quickly between individuals via aircraft. As modern times approached however, it became apparent that the branding was beginning to show its age and a much needed update was in order. Drawing inspiration from the vintage blue and red diagonal borders of the past, a new branding was created with a modern aesthetic. In the new design, the blue and red diagonal lines remain, but are expanded to extend beyond the border. This updated, contemporary design has a greater appeal to young people, without losing the sense of familiarity felt by the older generation.
