Ryan McGinley is an American photographer who captures moments of the anxiety of youth, some may think it is painful to do so. McGinley clarifies that ‘The Kids Are Alright.’ He tells stories of liberation using imagery of naked people. I decided to incorporate the pale but gleeful and pleasant surprises from his photos into my design. The die cut on the cover represents the curiosity, the veil giving space to the unfettered subculture if you knew where to look.
