“As a Wife Has a Cow: A Love Story” is a complex poem that celebrates female sexuality. The progression of language is in layers that convey intimacy reaching climax. The typographic representation of the poem was hand painted onto pure white bedsheets for a gallery show. The lettering starts out neat, and progress to messy, and chaotic, as one can assume the poem suggests. The bedsheets will be messed around with throughout the day, revealing the complex type underneath the blanket, as well as giving it a feeling of human presence, where there is none.
