Naked Among Wolves is a German film that is based on a novel by Buno Apits. The film takes place at the concentration camp Buchenwald at the end of World War II where a three year old boy is smuggled into the camp in a suitcase by his dad. Prisoners risk their lives to protect the boy from the Nazi guards and commandants.
The title sequence is meant to portray the little boy’s vantage point being locked in the suitcase and only being able to see through a thin light coming in through a hole.
