For my typography class, we had a semester long project to create and build a 3 article magazine. One article based on Shakespeare, one on perception of time, and the last one on music as a story-telling method. With the Shakespeare segment, I created textures, and patterns using one of his sonnets. With the “time” segment, I used a miniature paper model to form a cohesive narrative to go alongside the article. For the last segment, I used high contrast photographs of records to play with the negative space and type.
