The Resistance is a movement created in this extreme political environment. It’s about getting together and fighting for what you believe in. In this case, it means
my silkscreen class coming together and making t-shirts and posters in protest of Donald Trump. We went as a community of students to protest at Washington Square Park on National Strike Day February 17, 2017. It was an incredibly eye opening experience and taught me that you can make a difference, no matter how small it is.
We also wheatpasted anti-Trump posters across the city to promote themovement. My design features a large T with an abstract interpretation of what being trapped in prison feels like, because we are now trapped in Trump’s America.
