These are the prints I made during my SVA Destinations trip in Cuba using the printmaking methods of lithography and woodcut. They were printed at the Taller Experimental De Graficia Printshop in Habana. The lithography stone prints were printed on a printing press from the 1800’s donated to the shop by Che Guevara. The printshop is known for embracing experimental methods of creating prints and making textures, so I've tried to put some of that mentality into my work with a combination of my own style while I was there.
¡Viva La Cuba!
