“Playing Cards, Packaging, and Produce” focuses on the morphology of decomposition. For this project I used four different fruits, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, to represent the numbers and insignias of non-face cards in all four suits of a deck of playing cards. I then photographed these fruits over a period of time, documenting their decomposition process as they rest in their form of as a card face.
