Lincoln Center founder John D. Rockefeller III mandated that the arts are “not for the privileged few, but for the many.” Lincoln Center Theater distributes thousands of free tickets each year to culturally under-served populations throughout the five boroughs. The basic idea for this project uses the grid to represent the organization of NYC to illustrate the idea that art is for everyone.
