AFROPUNK is an annual arts festival founded in Brooklyn, that includes live music, film, fashion, and art produced by black artists. Because I chose to incorporate a little of Brooklyn into the design identity, I immediately gravitated to the wheat paste posters that Brooklyn is known to have on many street corners. In my identity system, you will see the ripped paper and wheat poster effects throughout.
