An Anthology of American Classics XXV was published in 1982, originally laid out and designed by Bradbury Thompson. I redesigned three sections from the book: American Cookery, The Black Cat, and quotes from Benjamin Franklin. All of the sections have vivid imagery of people and life, which is alive and imperfect to me. Therefore, for the illustrations, I sketch them out on paper and then tear the papers for textured edges in real sizes (The book is 5.25X8).
