I was inspired by Jack Ryan's title sequence for this project. The show is set in the early '50s in Aswan, Egypt (when classism was very much alive). The story is about a man named Ali who travels to Aswan to find his sister Doha, a maid that works in the Grand Hotel. He disguises himself as a hotel employee to investigate what happened to her after she went missing.
Since the shows revolves around classicism, I wanted to subtly compare the upper class with the lower class to show the unfairness and the struggles that the lower class had to endure to put food on their tables.
