Wine company branding inspired by traditional Peruvian culture and the typographic style derived from Chicha posters. Chicha is a combination of music, visual art, and lifestyle derived from the cultural backdrop of Peru’s migrant highland natives and mixed-race, urban working class. Characterized by bright colors and bold contours, the so-called “Ficha Chicha” style emerged in the 1980s, parallel to the music. The name Pachamama is the traditional native word for Mother Earth.
