Many Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders do not feel comfortable talking about mental health struggles and seeking mental health services. The reasons range from cultural barriers to societal structures to a lack of POC-focused mental health resources. MAP is a non-profit organization that seeks to alleviate this discomfort. Through a digital branding project aimed specifically at AAPI young adults and youth, MAP hopes to dispel cultural and structural myths about mental health and drive awareness of available resources and mental health services.
