Tasked to design a zine around a typeface, Nihon Kenchiku anchors its design around the typeface Everett. The zine explores the six major elements that make up Japanese architecture and uses that motif as the foundation of its design. The zine is broken up into six different components, breaking down the idea of a book into separate elements, allowing the viewer to reconstruct the architecture of the reading experience.
