Long Island City Partnership is hosting an event for lunar new year. A new branding system is designed for LIC Partnership for the promotion of the Lunar New Year celebration. The branding includes cultural event logo, posters, food packaging, and traditional holiday peripherals. The logo is inspired by the traditional Chinese decoration, the lantern. It symbolizes family reunion and prosperity of business, and during the New Year Chinese people hang lanterns as decorations. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger, so the typeface and a tiger is in the shape of the lantern.
