KaBoom! is a non-profit organization that builds playgrounds for children, but there’s more than that. It allows children to dream and brings joy to their family, neighborhood, and, ultimately, their entire community. The community participates in the building process by funding 10% of the cost of the building, and the children get to speak/ draw about their preferences. I wanted to portray a strong relationship within the community by using organic lines in the style of kid’s drawing. Vibrant colors and bold and flexible types break the typical NPO stereotypes and make others believe NPO can be fun!
