This work was to create an app to find roommates in New York. Many people in New York are looking for roommates because housing prices are very high in New York. Finding roommates is very picky because they have to stick together all day.
So, the first feature I thought of was to create a matching percentage with other roommates by collecting preferences from various factors considered when living together. The higher the matching percentage, the better matching with the sleep pattern, smoking, the number of times you drink, etc. You can also get more detailed information by chatting directly with potential future roommates.
The second feature is the preference hashtags. By setting your hobby hashtags, you can easily find roommates who have the same hobby as you. Users can easily see other people’s hobby hashtags by just scrolling through the screen. And I’ve put a privacy service in here. Users have to match each other to see details such as slip patterns and cleaning.
The third feature is a system that shows the houses in the most suitable places after finding roommates. When you enter your school or company address, it automatically shows you the houses located in the middle of the school or company among your roommates.
