The Supreme Court has passed hundreds of laws restricting a woman's ability to access abortion care. These laws take many forms, including trying to outlaw abortion altogether, shutting down clinics, restricting access based on income level, and dictating which medical procedures are available. The government's neglect and indifference make women's voices even smaller. Even as they marched and resisted, their demands were not addressed. Since women's rights cannot be protected by law, and we cannot change it right now, let us do our best to protect ourselves.
We selected First Choice, a women's resource center organization, as our refining target. It is a platform that totally serves women. They offer compassionate care when people need it the most, help women make abortion appointments, and answer some pregnancy questions.
