I propose The Ultimate Sleepover Experience exclusively on Airbnb, featuring Ice Homes in the Arctic. Inspired by the Arctic Glacier, I introduced unique ideas for what guests could experience in this Airbnb.
When users book this stay, they receive a special invitation. The Ice Home, located in Callisto Head, Alaska, near the Arctic Glacier, is accessible only by kayak after guests first travel by snowmobile to the vicinity.
Upon receiving their invitations, guests gather at a designated location, receive apparel, submit their phones, and are given walkie-talkies for communication, allowing them to fully immerse in Arctic-related activities while disconnecting from the Internet and mobile devices.
The program includes unique experiences such as “To Become a Glacier Itself”, a single-rider submarine designed to resemble a glacier, where participants float on the sea and observe underwater scenery through panoramic windows. Guests also learn winter survival skills from Eskimos using a minimal set of tools.
For safety, participation is limited to guests aged four and older, with each stay lasting five days under expert supervision.
To bring this vision to life, I created visuals using AI image generation with Midjourney, Canva, and Photoshop Beta, along with 3D modeling in Blender and Adobe Dimension.
The sleeping quarters consist of bunkers buried under the snow, which guests uncover using shovels provided in their apparel. The activity room allows guests to dive into the sea and board the glacier-inspired submarine, enhancing their immersion in nature.
To promote this experience, I designed Airbnb’s official website, app, and posters, capturing the essence of this extraordinary adventure.
