ExpandLyftFeature is a UIUX design project developed in my IXD Portfolio class, aimed at addressing the surge in demand and inflated ride costs that follow large-scale events like concerts. This feature introduces a shuttle bus-sharing service within the Lyft platform, enabling users to connect with others heading in the same direction or living nearby. By coordinating shared journeys to convenient, compromise destinations, the service reduces both waiting time and cost. Designed to offer a social and convenient shared journey, ExpandLyftFeature enhances the post-event transportation experience by turning a typically frustrating situation into an efficient and community-driven solution.
