The typeface is inspired by 九叠篆 (Jiu Die Zhuan), an ancient Chinese script that’s often carved onto square seals. I designed my typeface to incorporate the intricate patterns characteristic of Jiu Die Zhuan and adapted them into the English alphabet system. It captures the artistic depth of this traditional Chinese typeface, reflecting my cultural heritage while introducing a modern aesthetic that bridges East and West.
