Found in Translation

Found in Translation, is a project in which we were asked to reinterpret any piece of work. This film is a visual tribute and modern take on Matisse's Odalisque series of paintings. By applying many patterns and objects in his scenes, Matisse achieved to lure the eye away from the woman's body. He did this in order to bring back the appreciation of art instead of painting something regarded as pornography.
