Chris Burden is an artist who became iconic in the 70's for his intense performance pieces usually involving some kind of inflicted pain. His career evolved with time, from performace artist to sculptor/architect, but his work remained just as impressive as his performance pieces.
For this artist monograph cover, I needed to find a way to tie together the diversity of his work to create a cover which sums up his long career.
