The Challenge To create environmental exhibition graphics and promotional materials paying homage to the iconic cut paper works of Henri Matisse from the late 1940s. The Solution Using the same blue from a few of Matisse’s most famous cut paper artworks, along with some very well know forms, we were able to create a visual language for the identity that gives the promotional materials a similar life as the works they represent.
