A study in contradiction: nature in the city and film with digital. Originally exploring the idea of escapism in a cityscape, I shot only nature with no specific locational information on black and white film in New York City. As my interest deepened, I began to digitally color these photos utilizing iPhone photography apps to create a more surreal landscape and even stronger juxtaposition.
