To contrast the detailed descriptions of Orwell’s novels, I took a fully abstract and textural approach to this series of book jackets. Where Orwell paints such clear pictures in your mind, I present imagery with no form and no color. Coupled with exaggerated typography a strong atmosphere is created, but it’s up to the viewer to define.
