Successful public spaces are those that are collectively shaped through researching people in the community to discover needs and uses of public spaces. The Public Spaces iPad app will give people in the community the chance to participate in the process of creating public spaces in 3 different phases. Phase 1- choosing the type of space it should be; phase 2 - choosing the activities for the space; and phase 3 - choosing the final design for the space.
