To help increase the low blood donation rate among people under 30, The New York Blood Center approached MARVEL, the most popular comic franchise among young people. We will create a new series in the X-Men universe: Marvel Blood Battles. An interactive series, that launches concurrently with the release of the new X-Men movie, utilizing the difference in blood types. The campaign will not only increase blood donations but also create a community that can be re-engaged by creating new seasons.
